Our yellow sun gave Superman his powers, but Krypton's red sun prevented such things. So I thought, maybe red light is the key to superpowers for humans.
Just a side note: It's not. While it doesn't give people superpowers, it emits a fantastic, calming red light, which experts say is beneficial for our skin and nerve regeneration, among other things.
Personally, I plan to put it in a greenhouse and see if it helps my plants grow. I'll probably sit under it occasionally, too. But red light is great for plants, so time to experiment!
I like that the top of the lamp fits on a standard photography light stand, which gives me options beyond the included stand, which is very convenient.
Overall, 5 stars; it works great and is quite bright.
