It's so nice to have my own red light therapy lamp system! Red light therapy has been used to treat inflammation for years. I first became aware of it a long time ago when I read that a prestigious veterinary school was using red light therapy with great success to treat muscle and connective tissue inflammation in horses.

This lamp has become an essential part of my morning meditation routine. I love that I can position the lamp exactly where I need it, whether I'm lying down or sitting down. Just a side note: It's not. While it doesn't give people superpowers, it emits a fantastic, calming red light, which experts say is beneficial for our skin and nerve regeneration, among other things.
Personally, I plan to put it in a greenhouse and see if it helps my plants grow. I'll probably sit under it occasionally, too. But red light is great for plants, so time to experiment!
I like that the top of the lamp fits on a standard photography light stand, which gives me options beyond the included stand, which is very convenient.
Overall, 5 stars; it works great and is quite bright.

The lights in the arms can be adjusted in any direction and stay exactly where you want them. There are five brightness levels and a wide selection of different colors. The highest brightness is very bright and fills the room. I notice that objects in my room take on a completely different color, which is totally weird. It's nice that sunglasses are included for eye protection.
The controls are easy to use and provide a pleasant click. I find the placement of the controls a bit odd, and since it's not wireless, it's always visible, but at least I don't have to worry about losing it. The tripod base isn't heavy enough to prevent the light from tipping over easily when adjusted at its highest height. Nevertheless, I'm very happy with the new light in my room.
